About AI Property Tools
Who I Am
I spent over a decade in property management before starting this site. I managed multi-family portfolios, handled maintenance coordination, fielded tenant complaints at 2 a.m., and sat through more vendor demos than I can count. When AI tools started showing up in our industry, I watched the same pattern repeat: bold promises on landing pages, vague results in practice.
I built AI Property Tools because I wanted a resource I wished existed when I was evaluating these products myself. Not a directory of logos and taglines, but actual assessments from someone who understands what a property manager's day looks like. I test tools against real workflows: lease abstraction, maintenance triage, tenant communication, financial reporting. If a product doesn't hold up under those conditions, I say so.
Every review, prompt template, and guide on this site comes from hands-on testing. I don't rewrite press releases and I don't take a vendor's word for how their product performs.
How We Make Money
This site earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a tool or service and sign up, we may receive a commission from the vendor. This is the standard model for independent review sites, and I want to be direct about how it works here.
Affiliate relationships never influence our ratings, rankings, or recommendations. A tool that earns us a higher commission does not get a better review. I test every product myself, document what works and what falls short, and publish those findings regardless of any business relationship. If a tool with a generous affiliate program performs poorly, I will say it performs poorly.
Affiliate income lets me keep this site running without paywalls or gated content. Every review, template, and guide is free to read. That tradeoff works for me, and I think it works for you too.
Editorial Standards
Three rules govern everything published on this site:
- No sponsored content without clear disclosure. If a vendor pays for placement, that fact will be stated at the top of the page. To date, we have not accepted any sponsored content.
- No pay-for-play rankings. Our rankings and recommendations are based on hands-on testing, published pricing data, and real user feedback. Vendors cannot buy a higher position.
- Corrections published openly. If we get something wrong, we update the article with a dated correction note. We do not silently edit published claims.
